
Dr. Steven R. David
Dr. Davis is Professor of International Relation and Vice Dean for Programs and Centers at
Johns Hopkins University. He is also director of the undergraduate International Relations
program, which includes the largest major at the college. His expertise includes international
relations, security studies, and comparative politics. His recent publications include a book
Chapter, "Fatal Choices: Israel's Policy of Targeted Killing," in Democracies and Small Wars,
edited by Efraim Inbar, "Saving America from the Coming Civil Wars" in Foreign Affairs
(January/February 1999) and Choosing Sides: Third World Alignment and Realignment
(1991) and Third World Coups D'Etat and International Security (1987). He received his Phd
in Political Science at Harvard University.
